About Caroline
As mentioned previously, I have a year experience teaching both Spanish and Portuguese at a basic to intermediate level. I have a high level of patience when it comes to working with language learners. I go at the pace that is most comfortable for my students while also pushing them to do difficult things. I expect you to be comfortable making lots of mistakes, as that is the only the way to truly learn a language. I will not criticize for mistakes, although I will correct when appropriate. I do my best to make language acquisition fun with games and other fun activities. I will also assign homework if necessary to help my students to continually develop their language skills.

I lived in Spain for 3 years and have one year of experience teaching Spanish and Portuguese. I can offer help with conversational skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing for basic to intermediate levels. I have been speaking the language for 7 years, and although I am far from speaking like a native, I do have a range of experience to offer, from living abroad to speaking Spanish frequently with friends and family. I will personalize my lessons to whatever best suits you and/or your child's needs. I do have experience working with a language acquisition curriculum, so I can also incorporate that into my lessons if desired.
