Throughout my 11 years of teaching, I have encountered people from all walks of life, totaling 331 students who needed more than just a textbook approach. My roots in the Chilean nueva-canción tradition mean that I view language as an extension of one’s identity and history. If you are an intermediate learner, you know that the leap to true conversational fluency requires a focus on idioms and rhythm.
I often find that my students, including those preparing for the DELE, benefit most when we treat grammar as a tool for expression rather than a rigid set of laws. My music degree has trained my ear to catch the smallest nuances in pronunciation, which I pass on to you during every session. I bring a sense of tradition to these lessons, ensuring that the Spanish you learn is both accurate and authentic.
