Methodology
I believe that learning a language should be personal and fun and as a result, in my teaching strategies I engage my student in areas for which they have interest and involvement in the process of teaching them Spanish. I use Total Physical Response (TPR) which is a method of teaching language or vocabulary concepts by using physical movement to react to verbal input and I couple that with a Cognitive Approach (CA), focusing on the understanding of information and concepts using mental activities including thought coupled with memorization when using the new language.
For Elementary students I also use games and songs.
Background
I have been teaching all ages of individuals for more than 20 years. I have taught gifted programs, private schools, college students and professionals, tutoring one-on-one as well as via the internet with Skype and GoToMeeting.
I am a Certified Berlitz Translator/Interpreter (Spanish/English) providing translations and interpretation professional services to major companies like Citibank, Johnson and Johnson, DuPont to name a few. I am also a Certified ESL teacher as well.
I was born in Venezuela and I have lived, worked and studied throughout South America and the United States. I have been living in US for 20 years and at the present time I live in Schertz, Texas.

Advanced lessons $50 per hour
There are NO refunds on unused or cancelled lessons.
Cancellation of a lesson must be made AT LEAST 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time in order to receive a make-up lesson. This includes leaving messages on the answering machine or email.
