About Mariana
Well, it's been seven years. I've had students from all different ages and backgrounds. Each one of them had their own personal barriers to overcome and I'm glad they've allowed me to help them do that.
I've taught very active 5 year olds, teenagers who were about to go on their exchange adventures and many business people ascending in their careers.

Hey there! I'm Mari, how've you been? I've worked as a Portuguese and English tutor during the past seven years, since I got back from my exchange year in Australia. I absolutely love designing customized lessons to my students and watch as they improve their language skills and learn further about things they care about at the same time.
During our classes, my top priority is to use our valuable time as much as we can. That's why I come up with tailored lessons that combine news and cool stuff about topics you are interested at. It can be related to planetary exploration, pilates or craft beer. Your call. This is how it works: in our first class, we'll get to know each other and I'll take mental notes on the things you like. Then I'll basically gather all the most amusing material I can find and put it together so that it's useful for your learning and mental associations. :D
Soon enough, you'll realize you're understanding and speaking Portuguese beautifully and are also even more well informed of what's going on in the areas you like. Eureka!
