About Sofia

I'm a 26-year-old Italian native who recently moved to Melbourne for a new adventure. I come from Prato, a beautiful city in Tuscany, right in the heart of Italy's cultural heritage. I have a huge passion for traveling, exploring new cultures and meeting new people. Back in Italy, my university studies focused entirely on Art History, which is my absolute biggest passion. I love sharing my love for Italian beauty, culture and lifestyle with my students, making our conversation classes rich, interesting, and deeply connected to the authentic Italian way of life!

About the lesson

Ciao! I’m Sofia, I'm from Prato and I’m so excited to help you learn Italian :)

I believe the best way to master a language is by speaking it. I create a friendly, zero-stress environment where making mistakes is just part of the fun and learning process. I'm happy to teach you Italian through fun, relaxed, and natural conversations.

What we can do together:
• Casual Chats: Practice speaking about your hobbies, travel, movies, music and daily life.
• Travel Prep: Get ready for your next holiday to Rome, Florence or the Amalfi Coast (learn how to order food, ask for directions and sound like a local!).
• Vocabulary & Slang: Learn useful phrases and idioms that Italians actually use, not just what's written in old books.

No matter your current level (whether you are a complete beginner or just want to brush up on your fluency) I will tailor our conversations to your interests and pace.

Let’s chat, have fun and get you speaking Italian from day one! Ci vediamo in classe!
