About Michael
I have worked with students one on one and in small groups for several years from one grade level to the next, helping them improve their reading comprehension, writing, math skills, and prepare them for standardized tests. I’m comfortable doing informal assessments to identify gaps, building individualized plans around what each student actually needs, and adjusting my approach on the fly based on how they respond. I’ve worked with students who need patient foundational support, and students who are capable but need structure and strategy to meet their academic goals, and I know those require very different approaches. Whatever the goal, I’m committed to help your student make real progress.
