About Victoria
Fun, experienced and knowledgeable, that is exactly the type of tutor I am. I have been a teacher for 6 years and have experience working with English Language Learners, academically gifted students, and students with identified disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, down syndrome etc. I have a proven track record of student success across all academic subjects. I have been a tutor for 12 years supporting students in all academic subjects and in grades kindergarten through sophomore year of college. I will provide an engaging and highly personalized experience that will deliver results.

My approach is to get to know each student individually. I will work with you to understand what specific areas you need additional support and I will design a fun and engaging lesson plan which will meet your specific needs. I am also able to support students with homework assignments and projects. I am also happy to communicate with teachers in order to determine specific strategies being used in classrooms in order to align my support to what is being worked on in school. My lessons are for anyone and are unique because they will be specially designed for each individual.
Because of my background in special education, I am aware that there is not one teaching style which works for every student. I am an expert at understanding learning styles and creating lessons to meet the needs of each student I work with. If one strategy is unsuccessful, I will edit my lessons and delivery until we find what works for you!
