About Leila
I’m Leila, from Argentina and currently living in PE with my hubby. I graduated as an English teacher back home, became an interpreter and specialised in Spanish teaching. I have a passion for teaching languages and for seeing my students’ progress. I am here to help you speak Spanish confidently! I would like this experience to be enjoyable and not overwhelming! Hello! This is Leila, English and Spanish teacher with a passion for languages, education, and creating meaningful learning experiences.
I’m currently based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where I teach Spanish to students of all ages and levels who are eager to develop their language skills and communicate with greater confidence.
My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and actively participating.
I believe that learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable, which is why I strive to make every lesson engaging, relaxed, and adapted to each student’s individual needs.
My classes develop the four essential language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—in an integrated way, helping students use the language naturally and confidently in real-life situations.
I take the time to understand each student’s goals, interests, learning style, and areas for improvement, and adapt our lessons accordingly.
All classes are held online via Google Meet. I combine a variety of resources and teaching approaches, including textbooks, original activities, authentic materials, videos, songs, and interactive games. This allows me to create dynamic lessons that provide plenty of opportunities to practise and use the language in meaningful contexts.
Most importantly, I want our students to feel that they are active participants in their own learning journey. I encourage them to reflect on their progress, celebrate their achievements, and gradually develop the confidence to communicate independently.
