About Salani

I'm Salani, a national-level competitive swimmer from Sri Lanka with over 16 years of experience in the pool. I've trained and competed at a national level, dedicating much of my life to mastering technique, endurance, and race strategy.

Beyond competing, I've developed a genuine passion for coaching, helping others build confidence in the water, refine their strokes, or reach competitive goals. I bring the same discipline and attention to detail from my own training into every lesson, adapting my approach to suit each student's needs, whether they're a nervous first-timer or an experienced racer.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured around each student's individual goals and current ability.

For beginners, we focus on water confidence, breathing, and basic strokes in a safe, supportive environment.

For those refining technique, I break down stroke mechanics, breathing patterns, and body positioning to build efficiency and speed.

For competitive swimmers, sessions include refining strokes, start and turn technique, race pacing, and endurance work tailored to their events.

Every lesson is adapted to the swimmer's pace, with clear, practical feedback after each session so progress is easy to track over time.
