  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

"When words fail music starts". Music is a most interesting art that required a lot of concentration. It comprises diverse areas namely: singing, playing instruments, recording, composing, writing, and so on. Out of all, playing musical instruments is a very peaceful and extraordinary experience. As for my concern, indulging in this subject was an exciting journey. To commence with, my first ever music-playing experience was in 1986 during a cultural program but was still not completely in the music field. After trying many jobs in different sectors, finally realized the talent that has been gifted to me by the almighty. And started my own classes in 2006 'The Zion Music' on small scale, then continued to follow my passion till today through an online platform for spreading my knowledge to a greater number of musicholic students, teaching: Guitar, Piano, and Ukulele. With now, more than 30 years of experience, have found many new techniques to teach effectively.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

After working with various NGOs, firms, and many other works, eventually realized that I am not pursuing my passion. With this thought finally converted my dream into a reality as a musician. There are only two goals behind teaching, primary following my own dreams and secondly motivating others who also wish to design their own career as a musician. With my great theory and practical skills, I would like to help my students.
  • How does your work help society?

There are many instances in which my work has contributed to society. With knowing instruments such as Guitar, Piano, Drum, Tabla, and Harmonium. I have been utilizing this talent as a player in choirs and school programs. Moreover, me and my students also distributed by performing and winning various competitions, thus making society feel pride and providing recognition to our tradition and culture. Besides I create artists.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

A role model for my work would definitely be, Ludwig van Beethoven. He was a German composer and pianist. Beethoven remains one of the most admired composers in the history of Western music; his works rank among the most performed in the classical music repertoire and span the transition from the Classical period to the Romantic era in classical music. He was a perfect example, depicting that nothing is impossible in this world. Because even though he was deaf, he composed many great pieces of art in the music field. So, he is one of my greatest inspirations.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Talking about hobbies, the subject I teach itself is my hobby. Because playing guitar and other instruments helped me a lot boost my motivation whenever there are episodes of distress and sadness in my life. Besides, this reading religious book is often I prefer in leisure time. Moreover, I like to attend seminars related to music and go to the congregation.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

There have been abundant instances in my life. But telling most interesting one. A few years back when I was in school selecting students for choir, I pointed out a student after examining her voice and anticipated that she would achieve a great milestone in the music field. I was confident enough about predicting this because of my great experience in the music sector. Undoubtedly, the student performs in various stage shows, competitions, and concerts. The student has made her parents feel proud and me too.
