About Arjunvir Singh
I am a national level chess player who has won many district and state chess championships in India. I've been playing chess since I was 7 and instantly fell in love with this game. I always ensure that my students enjoy and reflect the beauty of this sport, just like me, and improve their play. Being a chess player myself, I fully understand how stressful and exhausting the whole process can be and thus, I ensure that students don't burn out and are confident in their play.

My levels are usually one hour long with content varying for different level. For beginners, my lessons are based on basics: how the pieces move, algebraic notation, how clock operates, chess rules. For intermediates, emphasis is one tactics along with basic knowledge of openings, middlegame and endgames. For advances players, my focus is on positional play including imbalances, prophylaxis along with detailed study of openings and advanced endgame studies.
