About Leslie Ann

Hi! I’m Teacher Leslie, and I’m an English teacher who genuinely enjoys helping students become more comfortable and confident in using English.

I’m a licensed professional teacher, TEFL-certified, and a C1-level English speaker. I graduated from a state university with a degree in Education major in English, and I have 2 years of classroom and ESL teaching experience.

As a teacher, I’m patient, friendly, and encouraging. I know that speaking a new language can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when you’re worried about making mistakes. That’s why I want my classes to be a place where you can speak freely, ask questions, and learn at your own pace.

I enjoy using stories, conversations, games, and interactive activities to make lessons more enjoyable and meaningful. Whether you’re an elementary or secondary learner who wants to improve your English for school or simply wants to become a more confident speaker, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Learning English doesn’t have to feel like memorizing endless grammar rules or being afraid of making mistakes. In my classes, you’ll have a friendly and supportive space where you can speak, practice, ask questions, and build confidence step by step.

I’m a licensed professional teacher, TEFL-certified, C1-level English speaker, and a graduate of a state university, with 2 years of classroom and ESL teaching experience. I’ve worked with learners at different levels and believe that every student learns best when lessons are engaging, practical, and suited to their needs.

What can we do in class?

-Practice everyday English conversations

-Develop reading and comprehension skills

What does a typical lesson look like?

We’ll start with a quick warm-up or conversation to get you comfortable. Then, we’ll focus on the lesson goal through interactive activities, guided practice, stories, questions, and real-life examples. Before the class ends, we’ll review what you learned and identify what you can practice next.

What makes my lessons different? I don’t want you to simply know English—I want you to feel confident using it. Mistakes are welcome because they are part of learning. Whether you’re a beginner, a student who wants better grades, a professional preparing for work, or an adult who simply wants to speak English more confidently, I’ll adjust the lesson to your level and goals.

My lessons are for elementary and secondary learners who want to improve their English in a fun and supportive environment.
