I am currently in my 2nd year uni studying Bachelor of Sport and Exercise. In regards to coaching, I have four years of experience and have played volleyball for 6 years at Club and National level for NSW. I have coached previously in several schools and uni teams.

One of my teaching methods is breaking down the skill into smaller pieces than slowly progressing step by step. Another approach I use especially for beginners and intermediates is showing how the technique should be done by demonstration rather than just telling them what should be done. For advanced players, my focus would be more on providing game-based drills and scenarios then focusing on skill and technique.

Ziya is a really caring coach and focuses on your progress and improvement. He is also a skilled and experienced player and highly qualified to teach.
Ziya coaches my school volleyball team. During practises, he leads the team in a warm up, uses drills to remedy the weaknesses of the team and then provides opportunities for us to demonstrate what we learnt in the drills in a practise game.
