I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as an Masters in Business Administration. I also have over ten years experience working one on one with students with various challenges including learning disabilities with a wide range of individual differences and complexities.

My teaching method focuses on a few key elements:
- Simplified language
- Helping students learn why they should learn the material
- Using meaningful examples that illustrate the concepts in unique ways for each student
- Presenting material in smaller chunks
All of the above are important, but, I honestly believe that the approach can and should be tailored to each student. Everyone has different learning strengths and challenges. The most effective tutor helps the student to develop strategies to maximize their strengths and other strategies to overcome challenges.
