About Deanna
My STEM+ and arts background provides me with a solid understanding of both the analytical and creative aspects of art education, allowing me to provide children with guidance through their journey in the arts. As a youth, I can mentor students in a way that is engaging and relatable. As a student myself, I have compassion and patience for the children and their creative journey.

As a student in the STEM+ program and Arts and Culture SHSM, I believe visual arts is a necessary part of any student's education.
A typical tutoring session will include any art mediums the student is interested in learning, including digital arts, media arts, painting, etc. We would focus on the areas the student needs improvement with, such as creativity or technique. Each session will be customized to the student and their needs.
I stand out as a tutor because I can connect with the children and the challenges they may face in their academic and creative career, as I am a student and artist myself. This is not just a job for me but a way to help children who want to excel in school.
