About Ifeyemi
Hi! I'm Ifeyemi, a final year Biological Sciences student. I am enthusiastic and friendly, and passionate about making STEM accessible. I believe that all it takes is the right example to help make a concept 'click', so I challenge myself to find the perfect explanations each student! I've tutored many students since 2020 in subjects like Maths, English, Biology and Chemistry. My students go on to achieve their goals - whether that's to ace entrance exams, GCSEs/A-Levels, or to simply feel more comfortable in class!

I use a mixture of collaborative and didactic approaches to develop strong knowledge foundations and empower students when learning independently. Sessions will involve (among others): - talking through relevant real-world examples (to get the student personally engaged with the topic) - taking tailored quizzes (to reinforce learnt concepts) - learning how to interpret and apply mark schemes (to improve exam technique) I usually offer lessons in 45-90 minute blocks. Session length and frequency generally depend on the student’s main goals (e.g. general subject support, overall knowledge consolidation or final preparation for specific examinations) and timeframe. I began working as a tutor in 2020, teaching both 1-on-1 and in small groups. I have experience tutoring students of various (5-18) and abilities. I am comfortable working with students with special educational needs or other access requirements.
