Straight-A Physics undergraduate teaches Maths for GCSE and A-Level or equivalent (online teaching)

During A levels Maks was the first person I turned to to help with physics. He approached each question in a logical manner and was able to guide me to the answer. Maks is patient as well as responsible and is creative enough to explain topics uniquely.

Maks is a great lad who’s never failed to help get my head around topics which I had previously found difficult. He’s very passionate about both physics and maths, which is clearly shown by his high level of understanding of each subject, and ability to help others improve.

Maks is a very personable tutor. He knows the content very well and can explain it in simple terms making difficult topics easy to understand. We would often work together on physics worksheets, and he was very good at explaining things whilst being patient. Maks has a very solid understanding of Physics and displays this in his tutoring. I picked up A-level physics LATE (around a quarter way through year 12) and needed to catch up on all previous content - whilst also grasping the new stuff being taught in lesson; with Maks's help, I was able to take my grade from a U to an A*.

The physics A-level has many concepts which are challenging to wrap your head around but Maks's in depth understanding of the content meant he was able to break down a challenging idea into an accurate and easy to understand explanation, which was often easier to work with than the one given in the textbook! This meant I was not only able to answer questions correctly, but I knew the physics like the back of my hand and would now be able to go on and teach it to someone else - even if they had no experience in the subject.

He provided me with excellent resources to use and approached every session in an accommodating and friendly manner, you could always tell that he was passionate about imparting his knowledge onto others and that he viewed our success as his own!

He's clear and patient with explaining things, and really enthusiastic. Also an amazing communicator - can judge what pace, or communication style an individual needs as well as being really understanding. Alongside being immensely knowledgeable about his areas of tutoring, this allows him to overall be a really helpful tutor.
