In primary school I was top of my class and I tutored mostly 2nd graders and 3rd graders and their grades boosted, my typical length of a lesson is 30 minutes to an hour. My technique is teaching the skills they don't understand in class and then providing them with homework worksheets so they can practice and revise at home.
