About Talia
Attacking play and piece coordination define my approach to the board. Having coached for 13 years, I help students across Perth improve through systematic game analysis and blunder checking. My FIDE Instructor status supports a disciplined focus on opening principles and tournament preparation.
Defensive technique and precise recording remain central to my practice. I enjoy the quiet intensity of competitive chess as much as the analytical work behind it. Understanding pawn structures and time management turns a casual player into a serious club contender.

Good chess requires forgetting about winning immediately and focusing on the logic of the position. Diagnostic rating assessment comes first to ensure we address your specific gaps in technique.
My FIDE Instructor background informs how we refine your board vision and tactical awareness. We work through complex lines together. 6 hours of dedicated study each week often yields the best results for my students. Growth happens when we isolate your weakest habits and rebuild them from the ground up, moving slowly toward mastery.
