About Dmitry

I'm currently in Year 12 and I’ve always really enjoyed Math and Science. What I enjoy even more is helping other people understand them. At the moment, I’m achieving 46/50 in Biology, 48/50 in Physics, 46/50 in Chemistry, 42/50 in Specialist Mathematics and 46/50 in Mathematical Methods, and I’m working towards a projected ATAR of 97.55.
I've always been the person my friends come to when they're stuck on a topic or need something explained in a different way. I genuinely enjoy seeing someone go from “I don't get this” to “Oh, that makes sense!”. That's a big part of why I enjoy tutoring.

When I teach, I don't just want to give you the answer. I want to work through the problem with you, explain things in a way that makes sense, and give you the confidence to tackle similar questions yourself.

Everyone learns differently, so I'll take the time to figure out what works best for you. My goal is simple: help you understand the subject, feel more confident, and enjoy learning along the way.

About the lesson

Do you struggle to grasp Math and Science concepts, or are you looking to take your skills to the next level?
I want to help students actually understand what they are learning, rather than simply memorizing formulas and hoping they remember them in a test. I break down difficult concepts into simpler steps, focus on the fundamentals, and make sure you understand why something works before moving on.
Every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching to suit your level and what you need help with. Whether you're struggling with the basics or looking to challenge yourself and achieve higher results, I'm here to help you build a strong understanding, become more confident, and work towards your goals.
