About Callie
My interest in violin began through admiration for orchestral music and emotional storytelling through performance. This passion inspired me to complete a Master’s Degree in Violin Studies and Ensemble Performance, where I explored advanced violin techniques, ensemble coordination, and musical interpretation in depth. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students of different skill levels, helping them build confidence and musical understanding.
I believe every learner improves differently, so I adapt my teaching style according to each student’s personality and goals. My approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and structured guidance to help students improve naturally without unnecessary pressure. Some learners improve through repetition and technical discipline, while others gain confidence through performance opportunities and creative exploration. I carefully design lessons to support balanced and meaningful progress.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring chamber music, orchestral performances, and modern teaching techniques to keep my lessons fresh and inspiring. Staying active in music education allows me to bring creativity and practical insight into every class. My goal is to help students become confident violinists who enjoy expressing themselves through music and continue growing artistically.

My violin lessons are designed to help students strengthen technical skills while developing confidence through structured and enjoyable practice. I teach posture, bow technique, finger placement, rhythm accuracy, tone production, scales, note reading, and expressive interpretation using clear and encouraging instruction. Lessons focus on helping students understand musical phrasing naturally rather than memorizing movements without understanding. I create a supportive atmosphere where learners feel comfortable practicing and improving steadily.
Each lesson is adapted according to the learner’s experience level, musical goals, and pace of progress. Beginners receive patient guidance with posture correction, bow movement, and simple melodies, while advanced learners strengthen vibrato, technical control, and expressive performance. I include listening exercises, technical studies, sight-reading activities, and recital preparation to support balanced artistic development. Students preparing for performances receive focused coaching for confidence and stage readiness.
I believe violin learning becomes more meaningful when students build patience, consistency, and emotional connection with music. My lessons help students overcome nervousness and replace it with confidence through supportive practice and positive guidance. Many learners gradually improve their musical expression and technical ability over time. My goal is to help students enjoy violin learning while developing strong artistic skills.
