About Nicolas
I am a Dutch-native Belgian; who has lived for the past five years in Scotland. After graduating from the University of Edinburgh (First Class Degree), I recently moved to London to work as a Structural Engineer on renewable energy projects. The projects I work on involve complex mathematics. I am also passionate about playing classical piano music, with my portfolio including various pieces by Rachmaninoff and Debussy. Regarding languages, I am fluent in Dutch, English and German (being half German), and proficient in French. My understanding of the language learning process is highly valuable, and I am currently teaching Dutch to my partner. During school and University, I have also been tutoring maths; physics-based subjects and Dutch to fellow students, who have all provided me with very positive feedback. My approach to teaching either maths or Dutch will be oriented towards you. Prior to our tutoring sessions, or during our first session; we can discuss which topics and areas you need help with. I will thoroughly review these; and come up with a lesson plan which will aid you with achieving your goals!
