About Zaakir
Most students don't find mathematics hard because it's complicated. They find it hard because it feels disconnected from anything real. My teaching closes that gap: every concept is tied to a context, so it makes sense instead of having to be memorized.
Online lessons are genuinely interactive. We work on a shared whiteboard, solve problems live, and use graphing software that lets students see how a function behaves. Because no two students arrive with the same gaps, I build each session around what that student actually needs.
For IBDP students, I also coach efficient use of the graphic display calculator — an essential skill that's easy to underestimate before the final exam. Throughout, my notes stay clear and visual, using diagrams and mappings that make hard concepts easier to grasp and to revise.

A dynamic, flexible and organised mathematics teacher with 25 years' experience, I have taught the Cambridge O Level and HSC programmes, and for the past 15 years have specialised in IGCSE, IB MYP and IBDP (SL and HL).
I hold Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and in Statistical Science, together with a PGCE.
I offer online tuition to students taking: IGCSE Mathematics and Additional Mathematics IB MYP Mathematics — Standard and Extended IBDP Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) and Applications & Interpretation (AI)
