My teaching method isn't about teaching children to obtain marks its to make them understand the topic in such a way that they'll remember it for the longest time possible. Having been in their place I break down a topic into smaller sub topics and explain them I'm such a way that the students understand it well and even give them simple 'fandas' to understand better.
And I don't want them to see me as a teacher, see me as a friend who is explaining you the topics in the simple at way possible, I call it the 'backbenchers' way. Simple fun and easy to remember while understand everything
