Help Your Teen Find Direction—and See Why School Matters
Does your teen answer “I don't know” when you ask what they want to do after high school? Do they struggle to see how school connects to their actual future?
I work with middle and high school students to help them explore who they are, what they're good at, and where those strengths and interests could take them.
Together, we can work on:
• Identifying strengths, interests and values
• Exploring careers and different paths after high school
• Connecting today's education to future possibilities
• Building goals that actually feel meaningful to the student
• Increasing student ownership and buy-in
• Exploring internships, work experiences and other ways to learn
• Turning “I don't know” into a place to start
I don't expect teenagers to have their futures figured out. My role is to ask good questions, give them the space to think, and help them begin seeing possibilities they may not have considered yet.
