About Nilar
My previous duty in Myanmar was a mathematics subject teacher for only Grade 6 students.
Therefore, I taught three periods per day and I have to do correction to my students’ answers and
make records their marks. My students were interested in learning mathematics with me. So, they
made so many discussions what they had learnt from my lessons and I had to give feedback. I was
assigned to hold annual mathematics workshops like School Family Day, Science Fair
and so on.

My teaching method is child-centered approach and give discussions about lessons and activities required for students' mathematical needs and appropriate feedback.I used to ask questions that promote higher-level thinking. In fact, it is important that a teacher begins a lesson with questions at the Recall and Understand levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. However, in order to solve meaningful problems, my students must be challenged with higher level questions that follow the lower-level questions.
