About Bhavya

I'm Bhavya Sekhri, coming to you from the vibrant city of New Delhi, India. My academic journey led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, with a focus on Psychology and Sociology, at FLAME University in Pune in 2019.

During the tumultuous times of COVID-19, I immersed myself in volunteering with various mental health organisations, seeking to deepen my understanding and gain practical insights into the field. This experience ignited a passion within me for working with children and parents, ultimately propelling me into the role of a Child Development Trainer in 2021.

As I delved deeper into the intricacies of child development, I realised the profound impact of early experiences on shaping individuals' futures. I then embarked on a journey to promote positive parenting practices, completing a certificate program in Positive Parenting in 2023.

I'm currently pursuing my Master of Counselling at UQ (6.75/7 gpa), where I'm expanding my knowledge and skills to better support individuals and families in need.

As a tutor, I bring a blend of compassion, patience, and dedication to the table. My approach is characterised by empathy, allowing me to connect deeply with my students and understand their unique needs. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and respected.
