About Joanna
I am a fourth year mathematics student on an integrated masters course at the University of St Andrews, specialising in both pure maths and statistics. Since high school I have been involved in many mentoring and tutoring schemes and have always been very motivated to not only teach my subject to a high level, but also to help students to grow in their own self confidence and equip them for future study.

In my lessons I always endeavor to mold my teaching style and lesson structure to each student's unique learning style, and use an encouraging approach to help students feel more confident in their own abilities. Where possible, I try to link the topics covered to real world examples, to make abstract concepts more concrete and easier to grasp.
