About Ella
I am deputy head girl at Southend High School for Girls Grammar School, and study English Language, Psychology and Physical Education at A level. I am Predicted AAB across these subjects, and will be attending University in September. I have tutored lower year groups in mathematics for 3 years, helping them rise in set and improve their overall understanding. I have completed vast work experience in many primary schools across Essex in which I have tutored and taught students individually to a high standard. I have also previously partaken in private tutoring for a family friend taking the 11+, in which they are now attending their school of choice!

My teaching method varies depending on the student and the style of learning in which they excel the most and feel most comfortable using. I have past 11+ papers from 2010-present in which the student has at their disposal to take practice tests with. I also have student work books for KS1 and KS2. The session will focus on the students weaknesses, and they will receive further questions to complete before the next session to enrich their understanding on the topic, and to check that they can apply what they have learnt by themselves. My sessions aim to be fun and engaging, as this keeps the student motivated and eager to learn!
