About Thierry
I am a student of the teacher training in Haarlem. Over the past year I have taught several classes to grades 7 and 8. I also have experience giving private lessons in these classes, to children who could use some extra help. What I am particularly praised for is my adaptation to the student/class. Everyone has a different way of learning and remembering and it is my passion to match the needs of the student as best as possible

The methods and techniques I use are different for each student. Usually it starts with an observation, introduction and together we make a plan of action. This to ensure that we know together what we are working towards! Then I would motivate the student to think in a problem-solving way so that over time he or she will need my help less and less and can work more independently.
