About Todd
I have a Bachelor of Arts with majors in English and History. I am also currently studying to be a teacher with additional subject areas in French and Psychology. For language learning, I use a combination of demonstration, recitation (that is, guiding student recitation), memorisation techniques that include some light and fun games to maximise engagement. The shape of the lessons would really depend on the student's level.
I will try and cater for all learning styles whether that learning style is Kinesthetic, Expeditionary or Inquiry-Based learning. Language is very much a subject in which you learn by doing; that is to say, I will try and get you using expressions in this language as soon as possible while taking the mammoth task of teaching the dense grammatical rules slowly and only tackling one conceptually difficult piece of grammar at a time.
