About Advaith
Hi! I'm Advaith Ballem, a student at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) with a strong ability for math. I completed Pre-University Math in 9th grade and have experience helping peers understand complex math topics. I was also accepted into a tutoring club at IMSA, where I support students in math and problem-solving. I offer personalized tutoring for middle and high school students in subjects like Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Precalculus.

I’m a 17-year-old K–12 tutor who focuses on guided, hands-on learning. I start by having students explain what they’re working on, then teach the concept clearly and walk through examples before letting them practice on their own—because real understanding comes from doing. What sets me apart is that I’m close in age to my students, so I can relate to them, communicate comfortably, and create an encouraging environment where they’re not afraid to ask questions or make mistakes. I help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and truly understand their work.
