Very heavy on practice makes perfect- once you figure out the solution to your problem, are you able to apply it to a similar problem? I found that math tutors never worked for me because they kept trying to explain the problem to me rather than go through it step by step to see what I was missing. Because of this, I plan to go through problems step by step, answering any questions that the student may have!
