About Shawn
Hello. My name is Shawn Im and I am currently a third year at UCLA majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. I have always enjoyed math and my favorite classes to this day even in college was calc 1 and 2. Regarding my background in tutoring, I volunteered as a teaching assistant to middle schoolers and high schoolers assisting students in their school work especially math assignments. Additionally, I was a teaching assistant for my high school precalculus class.

When it comes to tutoring, I believe in doing a customized approach that caters to my client's learning style and pace. I want to focus on what the client needs help with instead of going through a set regime. Whether it would be doing practice problems or going through a lesson, my main goal is making sure that the client understands the material to the fullest extent.
