About Michael
Having learnt Japanese formally for 6 years in high school and lived in Japan for a year, I have an intimate knowledge of the language and culture. I can speak and write at a high level, and have achieved a JLPT N2 certification. While I have no formal experience tutoring in Japanese, I give lessons to friends studying the subject at university. I am looking to broaden my experiences though, so I hope my language skills demonstrate the merits of my tutoring.

My name is Michael. I have studied Japanese in high school, and lived in Japan last year, and I have a love of the language and the culture. I can tutor students looking to learn the basics, or those who want to sharpen their skills. My lessons are flexible and I cater to the individual needs of students. However, a typical lesson will begin with a discussion of topics to be covered, followed by teaching and activities, and assistance with any homework or assignments if requested.
