About Aya
I studied maths at school achieving an A* as well as further maths at with Distinction. I continued maths for A levels and finally graduated as an Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University with a 1st Degree Honours. All students have the ability to learn something new, but might just need that extra support which is why I enjoy tutoring as I can cater sessions to various abilities and age groups.
I teach maths and it being a universal language means everyone is able to understand it regardless of background. I have had 4 years of experience and ranging from primary school to A-levels, accommodating to different needs and support required.

Generally my teaching style involves example walk through calculations, allowing the student to have try then going through exam style questions. Each students learning style is unique, and as a tutor I am able to accommodate to that to ensure the student has understood the fundamentals and techniques in a way that suits them. Being patient is key.
For 1:1 lessons, an hour is when we're most focused on a topic and so my maths lessons are normally an hour.
I teach primary school levels, specialise and have experience in GCSEs and also foundation A Level - I have tutored for 4 years across these age groups and levels.
