My approach to teaching is derived from my ability to communicate well with my students. I do my best to differentiate how I deliver content based on how my students learn most effectively. I always ensure that whoever I am helping has a full understanding of the content before moving on to the next stage, and that the information being delivered is relevant and relatable for them personally.
I am a current student training to become a secondary school teacher. My areas of experties include: Ancient History, World Mythology, Archaeology, Photography, Art History, Creative Writing, English, Philosophy, and more.
I've been passionate about teaching and education for over 8 years, and during that time the individuals that I have been lucky enough to guide have gone on to become successful in their own rights.
Andrew is passionate about teaching, which has and will continue to help him succeed as he has the perfect temperament for it: calm, collected and compassionate with a love for learning and expanding his knowledge. He is great at adapting his presenting and communication style to tailor different kinds of needs and I think this is because of his interpersonal skills - he's great at reading people and understanding that every student is different! Knowing Andrew personally I would also recommends that his sharp sense of humour and approachable easy going nature will transfer to making him popular in a professional context too.
Andrew's a great guy who's always willing to share a story. Having worked with him over the past year, I'm still not sure if there's a subject he doesn't know about.
We studied history together at Uni and Andrew definitely helped me through a lot. He combines his knowledge of history with a genuine interest in how and why people/societies acted the way they did. Because of his deep understanding, Andrew comes across as storyteller, which makes his lessons entertaining as well as informative. He's easy to talk with, and his warm and friendly nature makes him an excellent teacher.
Andrew is a warm, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher across all elements of his life. He is the first to assist new employees at our workplace, and more than willing to lend a hand teaching our friends a new board or card game. Patient, warm, giving and kind, Andrew would make for an excellent teacher.
Don't get him started on History, however, because he knows *a lot* and would love to share with anyone.
Andrew is a one of a kind teacher. He is patient and understanding and will always lead a helping hand. He's been one of my best friends for 15 years and he has taught me a lot about life, friends, and a whole lot more about the world!
Andrew is a consummate professional who is always willing to go the extra mile to help someone out. His kind and friendly nature is really reflected in his teaching style, which makes a dense subject-matter, such as history, that much easier to digest.
