Study as if someone else's life depends on it. Because it does.

Candace was my EMT instructor this year. She taught me how to use basic life support methods, administer medications, be an advocate for each and every one of your patients, prioritize your mental health, and so much more. She is passionate in what she does and truly cares for her students on a one to one basis regardless of the class size. Everyone learns in different ways and she did an amazing job incorporating every learning style into the course. If she saw someone struggling or not completely understanding a topic, she would go out of her way to ensure they received the help that they needed. She is the most selfless instructor I have ever met in that she willingly stayed hours after class with students to prep for competency testing, additional help, or whatever it may be. She asked questions to expand your knowledge on topics you would never otherwise think about until the situation happens on the road. Candace is the reason why I am so excited to work in the EMS field.
