About Alice
I’m a 21y old Italian art student, I’m currently doing a Bachelor course at Goldsmiths University in London.
Right now I’m looking for a part time job as I need to earn money for materials and gear that I’m planning on using for my future projects.
But, most importantly, I’ve already had some experiences with kids, I did an art seminar for kids around 6/8 years old in a Contemporary Museum in Italy called MAGA, and that experience made me understood that i really like teaching, and seeing how art can often be a “safe place” for some people, as it is for me.
I’m passionate, and really careful too, and I’d pay all my attention into this work experience.

I will first try to get to know better the kid, asking about her/his passions, what they like, what’s their favorite animal or color, and o on. After that, I’ll let them draw, with my help, what they just described me.Picturing their favorite animals, but still let them be creative and use their strong imagination. In the meanwhile, I’ll tell them fantastic stories about unreal creatures and unreal settings.If i have more than on class, I’ll also let them try different mediums, and let them choosethe one they are more comfortable with.
I believe art can open our minds, as well as being a way of expressing something that most people cant with words only. I’ve been always fascinated by what kids are able to draw and imagine, as this indeed happened to me when i was in elementary school, and I’m still so thankful for my teacher at that time.
Obviously, if there’s something specific I should do, I would follow precisely all the instructions

Perfect! Alice was really good, she bonded with my 6 year old immediately. It's usually difficult for him to concentrate for long but he had no problems with Alice. And he was so proud of his painting that he wanted to take it to school the next day.
