About Ollie
I am a confident student who believes that anyone of any age can start and pick up an instrument. I want to help those people because Music is such a beautiful thing and can bring people together. It is also a very helpful technical skill to be able to read music and learn music theory. I like to keep my lessons fun by trying interesting new techniques. I want to get to know my students interests and try to link it to the lesson to keep the student engaged. I take feedback very positively so if I am ever moving too fast or too slow, feel comfortable to let me know so we can tailor the lesson to fit the students needs perfectly.

I am a very patient and kind person and am open to teach beginners on Saxophone from the beginning by running through some basic techniques and then linking it slowly to learning the notes and fundamentals of the instrument. As you get more confident on the instrument we will slowly incorporate songs and learn about theory and scales and slowly get more advanced over time learning different useful techniques to become more independent on the instrument.
Typical length of lesson would be about 30 min - 1 hour depending on what you would prefer and the learning pace.
I have taught people friends Saxophone before and music theory just in and out of class and would love to teach you too!
I have a very confident level of knowledge in Music Theory as I'm studying it at Uni and completed VCE Music.
My lessons are open to all ages around level 1 to grade 4.
