About Laura AMJ
I have spent two years mentoring GCSE students in maths and chemistry, which has allowed me to develop my communication skills, as well as my understanding of the GCSE syllabus. Having received 11 grade 9's in my own GCSE's, I understand both the type of revision required to succeed here, and the difficulty involved in studying for so many subjects.

Having tutored many students in both GCSE Chemistry and Maths at King's High School Warwick, I have experience in planning lessons and explaining past paper questions.
I usually begin by assessing a student's current level, which involves looking at previously attempted past papers, and identifying areas where the student is less confident. Then, I plan active recall exercises and additional practice questions to help bridge these knowledge gaps. I am able to do 1-2 hour sessions, 1-3 times a week.
