About Biraj
I am a pre-service secondary teacher currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at Western Sydney University, specializing in Business, Economics and Commerce. I also hold a Bachelor of Business, giving me a strong academic foundation in the subjects I teach.
Alongside my studies, I have several years of professional leadership and management experience. This has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, mentor others, remain organized and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
I understand that every student learns differently. My approach is patient, supportive and student-centered. I create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions without hesitation, build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of the subject rather than simply memorizing answers.
I am particularly interested in supporting secondary students in Years 7–12 with Business Studies, Commerce and Economics. As an aspiring teacher, I bring professionalism, reliability and genuine enthusiasm for helping students achieve their academic goals.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, supportive and practical. I first identify what the student already understands and where they need support. I then explain concepts in simple steps, use real-world examples, ask questions to check understanding, and provide practice activities. My aim is not only to help students find the correct answer, but also to develop their confidence and independent thinking skills.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, although I can adjust the lesson length depending on the student's needs.
I hold a Bachelor of Business and am currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at Western Sydney University, with teaching areas in Business, Economics and Commerce. I also bring several years of professional leadership and management experience, which has strengthened my communication, mentoring and interpersonal skills.
My lessons are primarily suitable for secondary school students (Years 7–12), particularly students studying Business Studies, Commerce and Economics. I can support students with understanding course concepts, homework, assignments, exam preparation and improving their overall confidence in the subject.
