About Thea
I have taken the initiative during my own studies to create revision materials, which I developed through trial and error. Therefore, I am able to encourage tutees to develop their own effective revision methods that can be applied to any academic subject. I believe that not only would my tutees be learning Business, but they would also develop their own independent learning skills as a result.
I believe that any student should be able to excel in what they are passionate about; sometimes, help is needed along the way, and that is what I wish to provide to my tutees. I strongly care about the success of the students I have tutored, and this will manifest through students feeling empowered to take their learning at their own pace.
Business is a subject that I see myself continuing to educate myself on, as I am pursuing further education at university. It is a long-term interest of mine, and I wish to share that passion with others. I hold a strong commitment to being diligent, which I will strive to achieve with my tutees as well.

I am currently studying Modern Languages and Business & Management at the University of Manchester. I have studied Business for four years, achieving an 8 in GCSE and an A in A Level this year. What sets me apart is my approach to learning; I have created online revision sheets along with comprehensive revision flashcards for Edexcel A-Level Business, which have proven successful for both myself and my classmates at A Level.
Relevant Experience:
I have experience in tutoring GCSE Business at my school during exam periods, and I am always willing to give advice during stressful times! I was also a Business and Economics Ambassador at my school, where I organised events with my fellow ambassadors to engage students in the department.
I am available for one-hour sessions online via Google Meet or video call for those just starting A-Level or GCSE, as well as for those preparing for their respective secondary education qualifications.
I am willing to adapt my approach to each tutee, as I acknowledge that not everyone learns in the same way. It is important that students learn at their own pace and feel prepared and confident for their upcoming exams. I will focus on working through topics and areas where an individual tutee struggles, while making lessons relatable to the business world to help develop a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
