About Eve

My name is Eve and I have recently begun to study dietetics at the University of Newcastle after completing my A-levels at one of the country's top Sixth Forms. I also completed my GCSEs here, where I obtained 11 at grade 6 and above, with an 8 in Biology. In my final year at Sixth Form, I helped tutor and mentor a year 11 pupil in biology, she found this very helpful and has inspired me to continue to tutor pupils who are struggling. I completed both my A-levels and GCSEs under the AQA spec, however, as there are many crossovers between exam boards I can also help with certain topics that appear across multiple different specifications. Throughout A-levels and GCSEs I managed to find a way of revising that helped me learn and fully understand certain topics, this included a lot of diagrams and flashcards as I am very much a visual learner. If you are also a visual learner I understand that it is hard to pick up on certain topics straight away in class and so going through them again with someone else proved to help me tremendously:]

About the lesson

I will be teaching hour-long online lessons on Zoom or Microsoft Teams. I will have structured lessons planned and will structure future lessons based on the student's concerns. My lessons will be for A-level and GCSE biology students. Within lessons, we can go over specific areas of the course that the student finds difficult or just general exam question practice. I am a visual learner and so have many useful resources that I have made throughout A-levels and GCSEs which I am happy to share, throughout my studies I have figured out how to revise efficiently and feel I got the work to life balance perfdecr which really helped me to succeed:]
