About the lesson

My classes are for everyone, be it someone who only draws for fun or someone who wants to make a career out of it.
The first free class will allow me to get to know you better, discuss your goals and establish the areas on which you want to focus.
I will then make a program that allows you to learn at your own pace while having fun, because that's how you will progress the most! For lessons on site, feel free to bring your music if it allows you to be more comfortable!
Students who wish to create an entry portfolio for an art school can have each class turned into a "review session", where I will help the student improving each piece of his/her portfolio in order to create a coherent & harmonious presentation

I've always been a fan of video games and Japanese animation, so I decided to put aside my engineering studies in order to devote myself to drawing in 2014.
I graduated from Ecole Emile Cohl in Lyon (France) in 2018, where I learned the fundamentals of drawing, 2D animation, painting and sculpture.
Then I went to Montreal to learn design at Syn Studio in order to work in the video game and movie industry as an artist.
Now officially a Concept Artist & Illustrator, I am ready to share my knowledge with you & help you in your art journey!

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
At 24 years old! I was a computer science student and realized that field wasn't for me. I only felt I wanted to work in the entertainment industry and knew almost nothing about the different art disciplines. I used my savings, sent a portfolio made in 3 months to a French art school and started my art journey.

What makes you passionate about your subject?
The creativity, freedom, storytelling & emotions. Being able to communicate universally, not being restricted by the language barrier. Also, never doing the same thing twice is definitely a great motivation to go to work every day.

What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I like meeting new students that are hungry for improvement and full of creativity. It makes me want to try my best to help them achieve their own goals.
I don't know about being a Superprof haha. It's a learning process for me as well, and I will know I have succeeded when my students will be happy about the progress they made. I try to apply what I liked the most from my own mentors' methods and avoid doing what I didn't like. Then I adapt the classes to my students once I get to know them better.04
Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.
I have! Too many actually, that I wouldn't be able to list them all!
The greatest artists I've met or seen are not only crazy skilled but also are wonderful & humble persons. Their work and aura are so inspiring that it helps me remove any negative thoughts and really refocus on what's essential. That's why they are role models right? Since they just push you not only at your craft but also at becoming the best version of yourself.05
What are your keys to success?
In teaching, my main focus is for my students to have fun, so I will help them whenever they are stuck since motivation and consistency are key to improving, then comes the theory.
In my art career, breaking down problems into smaller tasks that are more manageable. Then the same thing, doing whatever it takes for me to have fun while working, that's when the best designs/art come out!
