In my online SAT Digital Math class, I employ a multifaceted approach designed to equip students with the skills and strategies needed to excel in the digital SAT format. My teaching methodology revolves around a deep understanding of fundamental math concepts, coupled with extensive practice using official SAT tests from 2016 to 2024, encompassing both paper-based and digital versions.
In addition to the comprehensive approach outlined earlier, I also adopt an innovative teaching method during my SAT Digital Math classes. Instead of merely providing answer keys, I engage students in real-time problem-solving sessions where we tackle official SAT tests together with timing. I will guide students through the solving process, explaining my reasoning aloud. This active learning model helps students understand prompt types and reasoning better, reducing mistakes in the actual exam.
Moreover, by solving the tests live (many of the tests are new to me), I also share in the same struggles and challenges students may encounter during the exam. This creates a supportive and collaborative learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, clarify doubts, and learn from both their mistakes and successes.
Each lesson spans 2 to 3 hours, allowing ample time for comprehensive coverage of topics, practice sessions, and addressing student queries. During these sessions, I engage students with interactive exercises, real-life examples, and problem-solving techniques aimed at fostering a strong conceptual understanding and boosting confidence.
With 3 years of experience specializing in SAT Math instruction, I bring a wealth of expertise to my classes. My track record includes guiding many students to achieve perfect 800 scores on the SAT Math section, demonstrating my effectiveness in preparing students for optimal performance.
