About Eastern Western
I am a student who has been back from my Year Abroad in France and will be going to Austria for my Second Semester as a English Language Assistant. During my Year Abroad in France, I have offered a 11 Year Old some English tuition lessons in order to improve his daily English as well as some understanding in English Grammar. He has a good understanding of English for his age. I have also helped University French students to improve their oral English in relation to their Business degree.

In order to help the child to improve his English, I need to know what aspect he needs to work on in order to achieve his goals. During this summer, his aim is to improve his oral English as he will be going to a summer school in Canada. In order to his achieve his goal, I have helped him to improve his vocabulary as well as conversational English. The best way is to look up on YouTube videos on Canadian Conversational English and I used a range of sources to help him with vocabulary and with grammar.
It was relatively easy in some way to teach University Students English. All I had to do was to turn up to class on time. Everything was spontaneous! We were given a card. Different Year Groups had different topics. For the students in First Year, it was business oriented. I had to be a buyer or seller and it was there just to make the scenario more realistic. However, language wise it was not so difficult.
