About Seán

Credentials and experience:
So far in 2026, i have taught over 200 classes, done both privately and with a grinds company. I have gained experience teaching many students at all levels. I also achieved a H1 in leaving cert maths and am now a student in Trinity College Dublin studying to become a medical doctor. I am very passionate about math and I believe this comes off in my teaching style. I strive to keep my lessons engaging, low stress, and supportive as I know maths can feel overwhelming.

Aside from academics, I have many hobbies and interests. I'm a fluent Irish speaker having attended a Gaelscoil for secondary school, and I'm also a musician (piano, bass, guitar). I also enjoy going to the gym. Below i have detailed notes on my lessons and the various benefits

About the lesson

I specialise in Leaving cert and Junior cert maths, teaching all levels. I focus on building strong foundations and exam confidence in my lessons.
Each lesson will be tailored toward my student and the current goal we are working towards.

with me, you wont be getting just an hour of grinds a week. I offer several other benefits that set me apart from other tutors.
->I will create a shared sheet where my student can access what material will be covered / is planned to be in coming classes. Through this sheet they will also be able to access homework questions, suggested additional study topics and personalised feedback from the lesson.
->I also provide personalised summary notes from the material covered in the lesson. This provides a great foundation to work off as my students attempt homework/revision questions throughout the week.
->I also provide short revision videos or prerecorded lessons. These are very helpful for going back over material covered weeks or months previously and for before tests.

My students will get continuous support through there journey, not just a once a week thing. This means they can ask questions, get clarification, and feel supported between lessons as well, so they never stay stuck for long.

Summer will be the perfect time to:
->Build strong foundations into next year
->Address weak spots from the curriculum
->Gain confidence and experience with maths
