About Yuki

Hello, my name is Yuki Lee Shigeno. I was born in Japan and moved to Melbourne (Australia) 20 years ago. I’ve been playing piano since 5 years old and I’ve also learned xylophone, flute, and violin as well. I have 10 years of teaching experience and provided lessons at Doncaster Early Learning Centre as well. Qualification : High Distinction (A+) in Grade 8 Piano repertoire exam with a very positive report examined by the renowned pianist, Tristan Lee. About the lesson

I teach piano for all levels and all ages to meet your needs. For beginners, while I focus on establishing the ability to read music sheets quickly, I will teach them to strengthen their fingers for better control using finger exercises. For younger children, I usually use fun play to keep them focused and motivated, such as “goose eyes” for good hand positioning. Please book for a 15min free trial first.
