About Brittany
English became my focus because I struggled to find resources that respected different learning tempos. My MA TESOL and CELTA credentials helped me shift my perspective on academic writing and IELTS preparation.
After 5 years of experience and 125 students, I have learned that one size rarely fits anyone. I am a neurodivergent-affirming teacher who prioritizes calm, methodical progress. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy quiet study and observing how language shifts across cultures.

Structuring a lesson, really, is about managing cognitive load. I provide free access to my vocabulary notes to minimize your note-taking stress during our calls. We tackle IELTS or TOEFL preparation by breaking down complex prompts into logical segments. Speaking confidence grows when we practice idioms and expressions within a low-pressure environment.
Academic writing requires a different cadence than everyday conversation. I apply my background to ensure your accent softening and pronunciation exercises feel manageable. My methods are designed to respect how your brain processes auditory information. We will work on your listening comprehension using authentic media clips.
